Parma, 30 June 2020 – Adailton Martins Bolzan is the old flame of Hellas Verona vs. Parma, the clash scheduled for Wednesday 1 July at 21:45 CEST at the Bentegodi.

The Brazilian, born in ’77, started his career at Juventude. In 1997 he was the top scorer in the U20 World Cup with the Seleçao, which earned him a move to Parma in Serie A. He spent one season playing at the Tardini, making 21 appearances and scoring four goals, the first of which came in Empoli vs. Parma.

At the end of 1998 he moved to Paris Saint Germain, where he spent one season in which he made 25 appearances and again scored four goals. In 1999/2000 he returned to Italy to play for Hellas Verona where he stayed for seven seasons, three in Serie A and four in Serie B, racking up 173 appearances and 52 goals.

His Italian adventure continued with Genoa (30 appearances, 14 goals) and Bologna (89 appearances, 21 goals), and he managed to earn promotion to Serie A with both clubs before then ending his career in Romania with Vaslui (72 appearances, 19 goals).
