Parma, 11 September 2019 – Three Parma Calcio 1913 players were involved in international fixtures and we’re taking a look at how they got on with this report.
The centre-back was on the bench for Albania’s 4-1 defeat away to France in Group H of EURO 2020 qualifiers on 7 September. Yesterday on 10 September, he scored his first Albania goal against Iceland in another Group H qualifier. It was the first goal in a 4-2 win for Albania.
The Slovakian midfielder started in both Group E matches. He played for 90 minutes as his country went down 0-4 against Croatia on 6 September and he played 85 minutes in the 1-2 win away at Hungary on 9 September. Thanks to this second result, Slovakia have gone level with Hungary in Group E on nine points and they’re only one point behind group leaders Croatia.
The Swede with Macedonian heritage who is on loan from Atalanta was involved for the Sweden Under-21s in Group 1 of EURO 2021 qualifiers. He started against Ireland as Sweden lost 3-1.
