Roma, 17 March 2019 – Ahead of Parma’s clash against Lazio this weekend, we take a look at all the pre-match stats and trivia.
There have been a total of 30 previous meetings between these two teams in Rome, with the Biancocelesti recording 17 wins (the most recent being a 4-0 Serie A victory during the 2014-15 campaign) to the Crociati’s four (2-1 in 2009-10). There have also been nine draws (0-0 in 2006-07). Lazio have triumphed in each of their last six home games against Parma, while they’ve also scored in each of their last eight – 16 in total. Their last home game against Parma without a goal came during a 0-0 draw on 20 May 2007. This will be the second official clash between Simone Inzaghi and Roberto D’Aversa, with the first finishing 2-0 to the former.
Ciro Immobile is currently Lazio’s top scorer in Serie A on 13 goals, certainly his team’s most decisive player alongside Caicedo. The Ecuadorian midfielder has so far contributed four goals and 12 points to the Lazio cause, scoring during wins against Genoa (4-1), Frosinone (1-0), Empoli (1-0) and Roma (3-0). So far, Lazio have scored 37 goals from 27 matches in Serie A. Out of the top teams in the league standings, only Torino have scored fewer – 35.

D’AVERSA REACHES 100
Roberto D’Aversa will today make his 100th appearance on the Parma bench, so far recording 47 wins, 22 draws and 31 defeats. Notably, he oversaw two successive promotions from C to A. He made his Crociati debut on 8 December 2016, guiding his side to a 1-0 away win against Bolzano in Lega Pro.
Luca Banti from Livorno will be taking charge of Sunday’s match in Rome. He’s so far officiated 222 games in Serie A, overseeing 93 home wins, 70 away and 59 draws.
