Parma, 9 December 2018 – Mattia Sprocati was brought on in the second half during Sunday’s draw with Chievo, although was unable to help the Crociati get the win.
This is what the No.93 had to say in the mixed zone after the match:
“There is a lot of disappointment because we really wanted all three points. We tried to get a result right until the final whistle but unfortunately, we didn’t manage it. However, I only have praise for this team. We know that we have our fans on side and we must now keep doing what we’re doing. I am pleased to have been involved and I hope to get more playing time. I am happy with my performance, even if I think I could’ve done a bit more. It’s a shame that Inglese hit the post but we’ll now look ahead. Our objective is always the same: to avoid relegation as soon as possible. Our strength is that we never give up, as we demonstrated today. It’s our secret. We’ve now got an away game against Sampdoria in Genoa and we’ll prepare for it in the same way as we do all of our other matches – with calmness and serenity. We know that we can get all three points in Genoa.”
