Parma, 7 October 2019 – With the international break starting now, here are the Crociati players who have received international call-ups for the European Championship qualifiers and friendlies.
Andreas Cornelius is in the Denmark squad for their match against Switzerland in Group D of EURO 2020 qualification. That match kicks off at 18:00 CEST on 12 October in Copenhagen. After, there will be a friendly at 19:00 CEST on 15 October in Aalborg against Luxembourg. So far, Cornelius has made 23 Denmark appearances and scored four goals.
Kastriot Dermaku is in Edoardo Reja’s Albania squad for their matches against Turkey on 11 October at 20:45 CEST in Istanbul and Moldova at 20:45 CEST on 15 October in Chisinau. Both matches are qualifiers in Group H of EURO 2020 qualification. Dermaku scored his first goal for his country back in September against Iceland.
It’s our defender’s first call-up for Sweden who will be in action against Malta (20:45 CEST, Ta’Qali) and Spain (20:45 CEST, 15 October, Solna) in Group F of EURO 2020 qualifiers.
Juraj Kucka has been named in the Slovakia side. They will face Wales on 10 October at 20:45 CEST in Trnave in a Group H qualifier for EURO 2020. The second match is a friendly against Paraguay on 13 October at 20:45 CEST in Bratislava. Kucka has played 66 times for Slovakia, scoring eight goals.
Dejan Kulusevski is in the Sweden Under–21 squad for their two qualifiers ahead of the 2021 Under-21 European Championship. The Swedes will first play Iceland on 12 October with kick-off at 15:45 CEST in Helsinborg. On 15 October, they will play Luxembourg at 19:00 CEST in Differdange.
