Collecchio, 27 January 2020 – Parma Calcio returned to training this morning at Collecchio. Led by Coach D’Aversa, those involved against Udinese last night completed a recovery session. The rest of the group warmed up before moving on to applied technique and ball possession work. Today’s session was concluded with a game on a reduced-sized pitch.
Antonino Barillà, Gervinho and Yann Karamoh all trained separately. Luigi Sepe underwent diagnostic tests with more set for tomorrow after an acute pain in his left thigh during last night’s game. Dejan Kulusevski also suffered a grade I strain to his left iliopsoas muscle. Andrea Adorante underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee, the operation carried out successfully by Dr. P. Volpi in Milan and the player discharged the same day. Andrea will undergo a week of load reduction before gradually returning to sporting activities. Alberto Grassi was rested due to an illness.
The Crociati will train tomorrow afternoon with a session behind closed doors at 14:30 CET. Captain Bruno Alves will speak to the press in his conference at 13:15 CET.
