Collecchio, 11 February 2020 – Parma Calcio returned to training at Collecchio today with an afternoon session. Led by Coach D’Aversa, the Crociati did injury prevention work followed by a warm-up and applied technical exercises. That was followed with possession drills, aerobic work and the session finished with a match on a reduced-size pitch.
Antonino Barillà underwent medical treatment carried out by the specialist Professor R. Cugat in Barcelona for a persistent tendinopathy issue in the left thigh flexor which has limited his ability to play: he has been assigned a specific course of therapy for the next three weeks, after which he will have another check-up. Andreas Cornelius, Matteo Darmian and Dejan Kulusevski all trained seperately. Matteo Scozzarella had a specific training program who continues his recovery from a myotendon junction injury to his right femoral rectum. Andrea Adorante, Roberto Inglese and Luigi Sepe had therapy.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 12 February, the Crociati are scheduled to have a morning training session behind closed doors which will start at 11:00 CET.
