Parma, 14 September 2020 – The school term in Italy is upon us and, for the second consecutive year, Parma Calcio 1913 are running their “Shape your passion” campaign in collaboration with Erreà and Ringo, main sponsor of the youth sector and women’s team. With total respect for the existing hygiene protocols, the Club had a strong desire to repeat this project, which was well received last year by children and parents.

More than 100 classes and a total of over 2,000 children were included in the initiative. When they first entered their classrooms, pupils found on their desks a Crociati jersey and a welcome gift on the part of their hometown Club. Accompanying the jersey was a card to colour in with the Club’s mascot and a letter from Club president Pietro Pizzarotti, who was able to inaugurate a new, happy school year.

But the surprises did not finish there; presenting the gifts was, in fact, Crozè, Parma Calcio 1913’s official mascot. It’s said that the Crociati knight, armed with gifts, personally distributed the presents for the little pupils over the weekend.

Every school that did not take part in the initiative may still get involved before the end of the week by responding to the email that was sent in recent weeks.

Shape your passion” is just one of the numerous initiatives that Parma Calcio organises for local children. Especially in what promises to be a particularly tough school year, the entire Club wanted to be at the side of the city’s children.

A first day at school that’s full of joy, emotion and passion!
