Parma, 7 October 2020 – Juan Francisco Brunetta was Parma Calcio’s second purchase in this transfer window. Let’s get to know him better with our Player Focus.

Born in Argentina in 1997, Brunetta started his professional career with Arsenal Sarandi, making 23 appearances with four goals scored in the 2016/17 season.

In the following year, he moved to Belgrano, making 34 appearances and registering three goals.

Last year, Brunetta played with Godoy Cruz, where he managed 19 appearances and six goals.

Brunetta is also part of the Argentina Under-23 side. Wearing the shirt of the Albiceleste, he has made two appearances, with his debut coming in January of this year against Chile in the Olympic qualifiers.

An offensive player, Brunetta is able to undertake numerous tactical roles: up until this point, he has played as an attacking midfielder, in a central role, as well as a winger on both flanks, with a particular predisposition and preference for the left hand side (he’s played on the left 19 times compared to three on the right).
