Parma, 9 October 2020 – Wylan Cyprien is one of Parma Calcio’s new summer signings. Let’s get to know him better with our Player Focus.

Born in 1995 in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe, Cyprien is a midfielder by trade. He came through the ranks of the Paris FC and RC Lens academies.

He made the leap to professional football with the Sang et Or, first with Lens II (16 games and four goals) and then the first team (102 games and ten goals) between 2012 and 2016.

He then signed for Nice, where he enjoyed a very good spell. In total, Cyprien played 94 times and scored 21 goals for Les Aiglons.

The central midfielder has also featured for France’s youth teams at various levels.

In his career he made nine appearances (two goals) with the U16s, five appearances with the U18s, three with the U19s and two (scoring one goal – against England) with the U21s.
