Parma, 7 November 2020 – Here are all the facts and figures you need to know ahead of Parma vs. Fiorentina:

Parma and Fiorentina have played each other on 46 occasions in Serie A, with the Crociati’s record against the Viola reading as follows: 14 wins, 16 defeats, 16 draws. In the last eleven encounters between the sides, there have been three wins apiece and five draws. Fiorentina emerged victorious when they last came up against Parma, and the Viola could record a second successive win against the Crociati for the first time since the 2007/08 season. The most frequent scoreline that the two teams have played out is 1-1: this is been the result on ten occasions, including last season’s draw at the Franchi.

Parma have played out two consecutive 2-2 draws in the league. The Crociati haven’t drawn three consecutive Serie A matches since May 2019 (five back then). Parma have scored twice in each of their past three league fixtures and haven’t scored 2+ goals for more consecutive matches in Serie A since October 2013 (five in that case). Gervinho has bagged 20 goals for Parma in Serie A and is just two shy of Sebastian Giovinico’s tally of 22, with the latter currently sitting in tenth place in the ranking of Parma’s all-time top scorers in the Italian top flight. Juraj Kucka has scored two goals in 13 Serie A matches against Fiorentina, including the penalty he converted in Parma’s most recent clash against the Viola in July.

Jasmin Kurtic made his Serie A debut for Palermo against Fiorentina in February 2011. The Slovenian has come up against the Viola 13 times in Serie A and managed to score against them for Torino in May 2014.
