Parma, 11 November 2020 – Juan Francisco Brunetta was presented as a new Parma player in a press conference at the Tardini today. This is what he had to say:

When I was told about the possibility of coming to Parma, I didn’t hesitate for a second. Parma are a team that I know well, with renowned players having played for the Club. Serie A is also a competitive and exciting league, I hope to prove I’m up to it and I’ll do everything to ensure that I am.

“I was very happy to make my debut, especially after a difficult month with COVID-19 causing all sorts of problems. Taking to the pitch brought me immense joy and I’ve been really impressed with what I’ve seen. There’s a great group here and everyone really helps each another.

Every Argentine youngster, especially those who play in his position, considered
Riquelme to be an idol. I had the chance to see him play, and this helped me learn a lot.

“My objective is to be as complete a player as possible. I’ve got good technical ability, I like to have the ball between my feet and provide assists to my teammates. In European football, you need the same grit and temperament that are fundamental in Argentina. I consider myself to have these traits.”
