Parma, 21 December 2020 – Ahead of Crotone vs. Parma, here’s our Match Pack containing all the stats relating to the game.
STATE OF PLAY
Crotone have won twice and also draw on two occasions in their last four matches against teams they’ve never faced before in Serie A, as many victories as in their previous 19 fixtures (D3, L14). Parma have collected four points from their last two away league fixtures, scoring twice in each. The last time the Crociati scored at least two goals in three successive away matches in Serie A was in February 2014.
PLAYER STATS
Jasmin Kurtic is the only player currently in the Parma squad to have scored a Serie A goal against Crotone: this came away from home (the match was played in Pescara) in September 2016, back when the Slovenian was on Atalanta’s books. Hernani found the net in Parma’s last away fixture (vs. Milan) and could score for two successive matches on the road for the second time in Serie A (he previously did so when the Crociati faced Bologna and Udinese between September and October). Two Parma players once played for Crotone: Mattia Sprocati and Jacopo Dezi. The former made four appearances for them in Serie B in 2014/15, while the latter scored four goals in 69 matches for the Pitagorici between 2013 and 2015. Only Alessio Cragno (57) has made more saves than Luigi Sepe (48) this Serie A campaign.
COACH STATS
Giovanni Stroppa and Fabio Liverani are set to meet for the first time in Serie A. The current Parma boss will also be taking charge of his first match against Crotone as a coach. Giovanni Stroppa, meanwhile, has come up against Parma on one occasion in Serie A: he led Pescara to a 2-0 home win against the Crociati in November 2012.
