Parma, 3 January 2021 – This is what Coach Liverani had to say following Parma vs. Torino:

“It’s certainly a difficult moment, but, at the same time, I can’t accuse the team of not trying to play, of not creating anything. We’re missing that spark: it’s not that we’re not having opportunities, the problem is we’re not making the decisive choices that would allow us to score. It’s something that we need to fix.

“In order to win, you need some inspiration, and this can come from the team as a whole or from individuals. To emerge victorious in this league, a bit more determination to invent something is also required. We play, work hard and look to build something, but we’re missing that individual spark, a dribble in the box, an assist. In order to win matches, you need moments of flair that can change the game.

“I don’t think we can look too much at the opposition, the only thing we can do is work with conviction and remain positive even when we’re experiencing difficulties. There’s no other way to go about things.”
