This will be the 38th meeting between Napoli and Parma, with the current records showing 16 wins for the Azzurri, 14 for the Emilians and seven draws. Parma have won two of their last three matches against the Campanians in Serie A (losing the most recent fixture), including the match which saw the debut of Gennaro Gattuso as Napoli manager (2-1 in December 2019).
