Collecchio, 5 April 2021 – Parma Calcio returned to training at Collecchio this afternoon. The Crociati warmed up and activated their muscles, followed by a technical warm-up and drills focused on positioning. Training concluded with a game on a reduced pitch.
Lautaro Valenti trained in part with his teammates. Wylan Cyprien and Valentin Mihaila pulled up during the session due to adductor problems; their condition will be further assessed in the coming days. Joshua Zirkzee went for medical consultation, in accordance with the medical staff at FC Bayern Munich, with Professor Christian Fink. The initial diagnosis is of a lateral collateral ligament injury. In any case, the player will need to wear a brace for six weeks.
Juan Francisco Brunetta, Roberto Inglese, Yann Karamoh and Simon Sohm trained individually. Simone Iacoponi was in physiotherapy.
The Crociati will get back to work tomorrow morning with a session behind closed doors.
