Collecchio, 18 May 2021 – Parma Calcio 1913 are pleased to announce that its organisational chart continues to take shape, and it will now in fact be enriched by another figure. Filippo Galli will be the new Head of Methodology for the Crociati Club.

Born in Monza on 19 May 1963, Filippo’s playing career saw him rack up more than 250 appearances in Serie A, which were topped off with an enviable list of honours (5 Scudetti, 3 European Cups/Champions League, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 3 European Super Cups and 4 Italian Super Cups). At the end of his competitive career, he embarked on a path to be a coach. He was in the dugout for AC Milan’s Primavera for four years (two seasons as deputy, two as manager), before occupying the position of Assistant Coach alongside Carlo Ancelotti with the Rossoneri First Team for one season. He then held the position of Director of the AC Milan Youth Sector for nine seasons, where the team won one Coppa Italia Primavera, one edition of the Viareggio Tournament, a Scudetto Allievi, a Scudetto Giovanissimi and a Scudetto U-16. Since 2019 he has been working with the Technical Sector of the F.I.G.C. in a coordinator role for the ‘Course for Youth Sector Leaders’.

Filippo, who will begin his adventure at our club on 19 May 2021, is welcomed by President Kyle Krause and all of Parma Calcio, who offer our best wishes to him in his new experience.
