Parma, 23 June 2021 – Yesterday evening, during Gianluigi Buffon’s official presentation, Parma’s new goalkeeper shirt for the 2020/21 season was unveiled.

To celebrate his return home after spending 20 years away, the Club, in collaboration with Technical Sponsor Erreà, has created a shirt that takes inspiration from the 1998/99 season. Featuring red and blue horizontal stripes, the shirt has the Erreà logo and Parma Calcio 1913 badge (embroidered) on the front. It’s a jersey that really does pay homage to the trophy success enjoyed by Gigi with Parma during his early goalkeeping days: in that shirt, he lifted the Coppa Italia and UEFA Cup to the sky.

The new antiviral and antibacterial fabric Ti-energy 3.0 has been used to create this jersey. This is an extraordinary success in the textile field, achieved through the use of two distinct technologies: the presence of permanently integrated zinc oxide nanoparticles encapsulated in the fibres of the yarn and Minusnine J1+ treatment. This combination enables the fabric to become an effective protective barrier against droplets, liquids and micro-organisms.

On our online shop, you can buy the shirt with free name and number personalisation in advance, and you can do so at a promotional price of €79 instead of €99. This offer will last until midnight on Thursday 24 June 2021.
