Castelrotto, 13 July 2021 – During the second day of summer preparations in Castelrotto (Bolzano), Parma Calcio’s new acquisition Stanko Juric spoke to the press for the first time as a Crociati player.
“I’m already feeling very good. I’ve got to know the group and they’re all top guys, and I’m ready to get to work. I know this is a great Club with a great history, our goal is to return to Serie A. I will give everything I have to help us achieve this.
“It’ll be tough. Serie B is a difficult league, but we have good players and can therefore aim for promotion to Serie A. I spoke with Mario Stanic when I signed for Parma and he told me everything about this Club, how great it is, its history. Some things from the Crociati’s history I already knew. I will give everything I have for this team.
“My key attributes? Aggression, strength, running. What did Maresca say to me? To stay calm, have fun and give my all in every training session. I think it’s the best advice a coach can give to a new arrival. My passion for tattoos? I have a tattoo of the name of my former club; for the moment. it’s okay from a footballing point of view.
“Buffon can give a lot to the team in terms of experience, I can’t wait to get to know him and give my all for this team alongside him. I can give a lot in terms of strength, it’s my best attribute. When I signed for Parma, a lot of people wrote to me. I’ve already received various requests for a shirt because there have been a lot of Parma fans in Croatia for years, and they’ve been supporters since childhood.”
