Castelrotto, 14 July 2021 – On the third day of Parma Calcio’s training camp, Juan Brunetta commented on how the team’s summer preparations are going:

There’s a good feeling during these early stages. Last year was difficult for me, and I hope things go better this season. The objective is clear: return to Serie A. The Coach spoke to me before the start of our preparations, I expect to have a good season. We know our goal, and, with the help of Buffon and other experienced players like Vazquez, we hope to achieve it quickly. For us, Buffon is important: he brings experience and intelligence and has enjoyed a great career. We need to look at him and learn.

“The Coach spoke to me and convinced me to stay. I would have had plenty of opportunities to move to Argentina, but my goal is to play in Europe and I really like Parma. Maresca told me to continue here, he wants me to train well so I’m ready for the new campaign. I didn’t play a lot last year, but I did well in the last few matches. I felt good and always trained as hard as I could.

Playing with experienced players here is incredible. Out of my new teammates, I’ve been impressed by Juric. We’ve only been training for a few days, and we hope that the new players will soon adapt to the team.”
