Parma, 16 August 2021 – The Crociati’s next match will be the first league game, and it will be against Frosinone.

This season Frosinone are coached by Fabio Grosso. The coach, and former world champion playing with the Italian national team in 2006, replaced his former teammate Alessandro Nesta as the man in charge. So far, Frosinone have brought in a few players from the transfer market: Gatti, Koblar, Klitten, Hoaudi, De Lucia, Satariano, Canotto, Bevilacqua, Cotali and Garritano permanently, while Ravaglia, Zerbin and Charpentier have been on loan deals.

During their summer preparations, Frosinone faced Trevi (25-1), Alatri (11-0), Viterbese (1-2), Ternana (2-0) and Benevento (2-2).

Frosinone met Venezia in the first round of the Coppa Italia, losing on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regular time. Grosso lined up his team as follows: Ravaglia; Brighenti, Gatti, Szyminski, Zampano; Boloca, Maiello, Rohden; Tribuzzi, Ciano, Canotto.

Parma have played away at Frosinone three times in the club’s history, with one win (Parma’s first away match against them finished 1-2 in 2008/09), and two defeats (2-1 in Serie B in 2017/18 and 3-2 the following year in Serie A).
