Parma, 2 September 2021 – While Serie BKT is also on pause during this international break, there are six Parma Calcio players involved with their respective national teams:
ADRIAN BENEDYCZAK
The Polish forward has been called up to the Under 21 squad for their European Championship qualifying matches. Poland will play Latvia and Israel on 3 and 7 September respectively.
DAAN DIERCKX
Daan Dierckx was given his first call-up to the Belgium Under 21 squad. Their match with Turkey is scheduled for 3 September as part of the qualifiers for the 2023 European Championship.
DENNIS MAN
The Romanian attacker has also been called up to the senior national team, who will face off against Iceland (September 2), Liechtenstein (September 5) and North Macedonia (September 8) in their qualifying matches for the 2022 World Cup.
SIMON SOHM
The Crociati midfielder will play with the Switzerland U21 team in their two qualifying matches for the 2023 European Championship: Switzerland U21 vs. Gibraltar U21 (3 September) and Gibraltar U21 vs. Switzerland U21 (7 September).
MARTIN TURK
The Crociati goalkeeper was called up to the Slovenia Under 21 squad for their European Championship qualifying matches against Czech Republic (September 2) and Andorra (September 6).
VASILEIOS ZAGARITIS
Crociati full-back Vasileios Zagaritis has also been called up to the Greece U21 team for their double fixture scheduled in this international break: Denmark U21 vs. Greece U21 (friendly match) and Iceland U21 vs. Greece U21 (Euro 2023 qualifier).
