Parma, 26 September 2021 – At the end of today’s match, Coach Maresca had the following thoughts to share:
“We have something to be happy about, even if it’s hard to be, especially after this performance, as after the equaliser we had a lot of chances. Our performance was good, but there is room for growth. Today’s attitude is what we need at all times”.
“Today’s performance was important because we came into it on the back of two defeats and we also went behind today. The team reacted very well, and it wasn’t easy. We gave positive signs, and it was a good match from a technical point of view. We tried to play the ball and that’s what I’ve been asking the boys to do from the start. In the last two matches, we resorted to long balls because the game had changed. We also did well from that point of view today”.
