Parma, 26 November 2021 – Parma Calcio 1913 are supporting the international “Orange the World” campaign promoted by UN Women, the United Nations entity dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women, with the aim of combatting all forms of discrimination and violence against women.

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN MUST BE ELIMINATED. IN EVERY FIELD OF OUR LIVES.

When Parma face Como away from home at 20:30 CET on Sunday 28 November, all members of the playing and technical staff will have the symbol of the initiative painted on their faces. In supporting Serie B’s activities for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women 2021, the match will be played with a red ball: before kick-off, Crociati skipper Gianluigi Buffon and the captain of Como will donate a replica to a female fan on behalf of all women in Italy. Parma’s women’s first team will also paint their faces with the aforementioned symbol when they take on Biancorosse Piacenza away from home on the same day (14:30 CET).

“Against all discrimination” is the philosophy adopted by Parma Calcio 1913 every single day: the Club’s support of this initiative is part its charitable work and activities to combat all forms of discrimination.
