Parma, 17 December 2021 – Once again this year, Parma Calcio 1913 are supporting the activities of the AIL (Associazione Italiana contro Leucemie, Linfomi e Mieloma) – the Italian Association against Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma.

Whenever Christmas comes around, our Club always gets involved in the sale of AIL poinsettias, an initiative that raises research funds in the fight against leukemia.

Directors, players, staff members, employees and collaborators of Parma Calcio have purchased AIL poinsettias and invite all Crociati fans to do so too.

At the Collecchio Sports Centre today, Professor Vittorio Rizzoli, the President of AIL Parma, was welcomed by Parma Calcio Managing Director Sport Javier Ribalta and met the team to talk about this important topic.

ParmAIL – the Parma branch of this socially active non-profit organisation – was founded in 1995 to support the Hematology, Bone Marrow Transplant Centre (CTMO) of the Maggiore Hospital (Azienda Ospedaliero – Universitaria di Parma) in Parma. ParmaAIL’s mission is to promote and support scientific research, improve the quality of life of patients and their families, and to raise public awareness of the fight against blood diseases.
