Parma, 3 February 2022 – Benevento vs. Parma is the next match that awaits the Crociati, who will take to the pitch at the Vigorato on Saturday. Here are all the facts and figures that you need to know:

Between Serie A and Serie B, Benevento and Parma have met a total of three times. The sides played out two draws in the Italian top flight last season, while the Crociati ran out 1-0 winners in August earlier on this campaign.

Benevento have won their last three home matches in Serie B and could record their fourth consecutive victory at the Vigorato for the first time since June 2020.

Parma have gone three away matches without defeat in Italy’s second division (W1, D2). The last time the Crociati went on a longer run without losing on the road in a single Serie B campaign was in May 2009 (nine – W4, D5).

Benevento have scored 33 goals in 20 league matches this season. This is their second best ever tally at this stage of a Serie B season, after the 2019/20 campaign (35 goals).

No team have had more goalscorers than Benevento (14, same as Brescia) this season. On the other hand, only Cosenza and Reggina (six each) have had fewer than Parma (eight).

Parma are the only team that haven’t had a penalty in Serie B this season.

Two of Benevento’s last three Serie B goals were scored by Andres Tello. Out of all the midfielders in the division, only Nicolò Fagioli (eight) and Parma man Franco Vazquez (eight – six goals and two assists) have been involved in more goals during the current season (six goal involvements for the Colombian, who has scored five times and provided one assist).

Franco Vázquez bagged his sixth goal of the season in Parma’s last match against Crotone, with the Argentine netting directly from a free kick. Between Serie A and Serie B, the Crociati previously hadn’t scored in this manner since April 2021 (Gastón Brugman vs. Juventus in Turin). The last time a Parma player had done this in Italy’s second division was in December 2017 (Roberto Insigne vs. Pro Vercelli).
