Parma, 5 April 2022Twenty years have passed since Parma’s last league meeting with Wednesday’s visitors, Como, at the Ennio Tardini stadium.

The stage on this occasion was Serie A, while tomorrow’s game (14:00 CEST) will of course be in Serie B.

The star player during the game was Sabri Lamouchi, as Parma won 2-0 (the third game of the season) on Sunday, 22 September 2002.

Il primo Parma di mister Claudio Cesare Prandelli, davanti a quindicimila tifosi, risolse la gara all’alba di ogni tempo. Coach Claudio Cesare Prandelli’s best ever Parma side, dominated the game, with a 15,000-strong backing, secured the victory with goals early on in each half.

In the 13th minute, our french-tunisian midfielder, who wore the captain’s armband, scored with a right-footed effort, as he took the ball, off-balanced, leaping on the rebound following Mark Bresciano‘s parried effort, after trying to overlap Aimo Diana on the right wing (1-0).

Lamouchi tried to double the Crociati’s lead a minute after the break. With a sharp free-kick from the left, away goalkeeper, Alex Brunner, committed with no success.

Adriano wasn’t picked up from the Laraiani rearguard, as he headed the ball into the back of the net with ease (2-0).
