Parma, 12 May 2022 – The Parma Calcio community said their ‘goodbyes’ to one of their own, for the last time, at the stadio Ennio Tardini earlier this morning.

Corrado Marvasi’s funeral procession stopped in the square in front of the Petitot Tribune. Marvasi was a real asset to the Parma fan community and the city of Parma.

The stadium was the first stop on the journey, that remembered three of the most symbolic places during Corradone’s life (not only the Tardini, but his company and the Aquila Longhi club were also visited along the way).

At our stadium were dozens of fans, alongside the two major supporters’ groups (Boys Parma 1977 and Parma Clubs Coordination Centre) who had made banners which read a single, meaningful message: “Thank you!”.

At their side, a large delegation from Parma Calcio 1913, represented by the Area Technical Director, Javier Ribalta, Sporting Director, Mauro Pederzoli and the Finance and Control Director, Valerio Casagrande, as well as by many of his employees and friends.

Javier Ribalta gave the Marvasi family a dedicated and personalised Crociati shirt, bearing Corradone’s name; a gift on the club’s and president, Kyle Krause’s behalf.

It is the symbol of our team, our community and our city that cherished Corradone for a lifetime and will accompany him on his final journey.
