Parma, 10 June 2022 – Parma Calcio 1913 Srl announces that it has acquired the total share of the Empoli Ladies Football Club, which has since been named – with authorisation from the FIGC – Parma Calcio 2022 Srl, thus guaranteeing the club the right to participate in the upcoming season of the Women’s Serie A.
The acquisition is the result of the Parma 1913 Football Group and its President Kyle Krause’s vision for the Group, which considers the development of women’s’ football to be vital. It is putting attention towards issues of equal opportunity and the professional development of the women’s game at the centre of its plans.
