Parma, 16 June 2022 – There were 6 Crociati players on international duty with their respective Under-21 sides, with European qualification, Nations League and friendly games well underway:

ADRIAN BENEDYCZAK (Poland)
Our Polish forward was called up to the Under-21 and came on in the 68th minute of their game against Germany (ithe Germans winning 2-1) on 7 June.

ADRIAN BERNABE’ (Spain)
This was Adrian’s first time with Spain following his selection for Under-21s. On 3 June he made his debut, coming on in the 63rd minute, in his team’s 6-0 win over Northern Ireland.

YORDAN OSORIO (Venezuela)
Venezuela recently played a pair of friendlies against Malta (1 June) and Saudi Arabia (9 June):  Yordan was amongst the starting XI for both matches, playing 77 minutes against Malta (1-0 win) and the full 90 minutes against Saudi Arabia (1-0 win).

SIMON SOHM (Switzerland)
Simon played 90 minutes against Bulgaria on 4 June (1-0 win) and 66 minutes against Moldova on 8 June (1-1).

MARTIN TURK (Slovenia)
After his call-up to the men’s national team, Martin joined the Slovenia Under-21s. On 6 June, his side won 2-0 against Andorra. On 13 June they won 2-1 away to the England age-group, which proved to be a historic victory. Turk played the entirety of both matches.

VASILEIOS ZAGARITIS (Greece)
Ninety minutes against Cyprus and 85 minutes against Portugal for the Crociati’s Greek Under-21 full-back. However, Greece fell to defeat in both games.
