Parma, 14 July 2022 – Parma Calcio is happy to announce that Martina Capelli will be the Women’s first team Club Manager.

30-year-old Martina Capelli, from Parma, as a player had a career that spanned many years playing in both domestic leagues and international ones. She made her football debut when she was only 13 for Crociati Noceto in Serie D, where she also played for them in Serie C. At just 17 years of age, she made her Serie A debut with Reggiana, led by current Italy Head Coach Milena Bertolini and went on to play for Olimpia Vignola, Herforder SV, Duisburg, RCD Espanyol, Recreativo Huelva, Como 2000, OSA Seattle FC, FC Neunkirch, Apollon Ladies FC and AAC Milan. After hanging up her boots last season, she started working in collaboration with the Sporting Secretary here at Parma for the Youth and Women’s setups. After the Club bought the rights to become a Serie A club, she has now taken up the new coordinating role.
