Parma, 26 August 2022 – Next up for the Crociati is Cosenza on Sunday 28 August at 20:45 CEST. Let’s take a closer look at some previous meetings and statistics related to our clashes with the side from Calabria.

● Parma have come out victorious in half of their games against Cosenza in Serie B (six out of twelve), including our last meeting, a 3-1 away win. A victory at the weekend for the Ducali would see them win two consecutive games against the Rossoblù for the first time since 1963.

● Despite drawing 1-1 last season at home to Cosenza, Parma are unbeaten in six against them at Tardini in Serie B (four wins, two draws). Our last victory dates backs to October 1989 in a 5-1 drubbing.

● Parma have drawn their first two games of this campaign; only in 1959/60 and 1961/62 have the Gialloblù drawn their opening three matches in Serie B.

● Parma have drawn five out of their last seven Serie B home games (one win and one defeat), including the last two, letting in two goals both times. The Gialloblù haven’t scored in three consecutive home games since last March and haven’t conceded at least two goals in three consecutive games since January 1990.

● Cosenza have won both their opening 2022/23 league games. In Serie B, they have never won their opening three matches before.

● Cosenza won their first away league game of the season 1-0 at Benevento on 14 August after not winning in their previous 28 away games (eleven losses and 17 draws). The Calabrian side haven’t won back to back away games since July 2020 when they won at Pordenone and Empoli.

● Cosenza kept a clean sheet in their opening away win over Benevento and haven’t collected two consecutive clean sheets, away from home, since April 2001.

● In this season’s Serie B, no player has made more attempts at goal than Parma’s Franco Vázquez. He has made eight attempts at goal with three on target.

● The first of Adrián Bernabé’s two braces in Serie B was in Parma’s last meeting with Cosenza at stadio San Vito Gigi Marulla, with the 21-year-old contributing to the Gialloblù’s 3-1 win in April 2022.
