Parma, 7 September 2022 – On matchday 2 of Serie A, Sassuolo will be the first home opponent in the Crociate’s history in the women’s top division, in a match scheduled for Monday 12 at 19.00 CEST at the Tardini. Let’s take a look at some stats and facts about the match.
- After the first round of fixtures, Parma have completed the most direct attacks (3) and have completed the most manoeuvres after winning possession (5).
- On matchday 1, Sassuolo conceded more shots than any other team (20); last seaosn the Neroverdi conceded an average of 11.4 shots per game
- Parma’s new signing Michela Cambiaghi has scored 17 goals in four Serie A seasons with Sassuolo (between 2018/19 and 2021/22). Only with Atalanta Mozzanica (18) has the former Neroverde scored more goals in the top-flight. The Gialloblù striker, however, has not found the net in a home game since March 2021.
- Valeria Pirone is another former Sassuolo player: scoring 10 goals in the 2020/21 Serie A for the Neroverdi.
