Venice, 19 September 2022 – Matchday 1 National Serie A & B Championship Under 18 Group B, at the ‘Taliercio’ Sports Centre. A bitter comeback defeat for Parma who were beaten by Venezia 2-1. The lagunari produced only two shots over the course of the match, the ones turned into goals (36′ Nicholas Gesuato and 49′ Marco Ladisa). An enviable scoring percentage. The Crociati took the lead in the 14th minute through Andrei Gabriele Florea (a poor touch from the goalkeeper left the goal wide open), only to be then caught up by the prowess of their orange and green peers, first Nicholas Gesuato (in the 36th minute, a fine free-kick over the wall from the left corner of the box) and then Marco Ladisa (in the 49th minute, a right-footed strike in off the far post).
