Parma, 25 September 2022 – Passion gave enthusiasm and joy to their voices. So many fans voted in the “Give your passion a voice” poll to define the shirt for our club’s 109th birthday (16 December 1913). And thus was born the kit that will be worn by the Women’s and Men’s First Team for the entire month of December.

A poll that was met with enthusiasm, given the impressive number of voters, and that delivered its verdict to finalise the make-up of the shirt, inspired by 2002, the day of the Coppa Italia final, the eighth trophy in our glorious trophy cabinet. The last one we won, at the Ennio Tardini stadium, our home, against Juventus, wearing an unusual and special blue uniform adorned with gold details, while the goalkeeper’s jersey was pink with the same gold inserts.

It was the third Coppa Italia to be added to our glorious collection of trophies.

In December 2022, 20 years later, this uniform comes back to life. The rendition of this uniform will be carried out by our kit sponsor Erreà, but the choice of the graphic declination, among several options, has been a collective one. With a re-design chosen and decided on by our supporters.

Three graphic slots were created at the end of the “Give your passion a voice” survey:

  1. THE WINNING DESIGN with 40% of votes

The background of the shirt will consist of a graphic composed of a repeated image of the 2022 Coppa Italia on a blue background and gold image (for the standard competition shirt) and on a blue background with a pink image (for the goalkeeper’s shirt).

  1. WINNING CHANT with 47% of votes

The “Siam sempre qui, insieme a te, coi gialloblu combatterem” chant was selected.

  1. WINNING EMBROIDERY with 94.5% of votes

The back of the collar also features an embroidery dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Coppa Italia.

A reference drawn from the century-old history of the Crociati and the link with the city whose name Parma Calcio not only bears, but also constitutes its social and cultural heritage. The jerseys used on the pitch will be on sale with a solidarity purpose in favour of the Parma community, as will the proceeds from the limited edition jerseys, which can be purchased at the Store and in the online shop from the end of November.
