Parma, 21 October 2022 – Südtirol are Parma’s next opponents as the Crociati travel to Bolzano on Saturday 22 October. Let’s take a closer look at a few stats and records ahead of the game.

  • This is the first-ever meeting between Südtirol and Parma. The last time a team from the region of Trentino-Alto Adige played a side from Emilia Romagna in the second tier of Italian football was on 20 June 1948: Centese 0-1 Bolzano.
  • Parma have an equal record against South Tyrolean sides in Serie B: a win at home and a loss away against Bolzano in 1947/48.
  • Since the arrival of Pierpaolo Bisoli (29 August 2022), Südtirol have taken 14 points from six league games (W4, D2) – only Ternana (16) have picked up more points in that time in Serie B.
  • After losing their first home game in the league this season under then-coach Leandro Greco, Südtirol have gone unbeaten in their last three home games in Serie B (W1, D2) under Pierpaolo Bisoli.
  • Parma have kept a clean sheet in each of their last two league games and haven’t gone three consecutive games without conceding in Serie B since April 2018.
  • Since the start of last season, only SPAL (11) have drawn more games away from home in Serie B than Parma (10 out of 23); the Ducale have, in fact, drawn three of their four away matches so far this season.
  • Südtirol have scored the most penalties of any team in Serie B this season: three.
  • Only Genoa (46) and Bari (51) have spent fewer minutes trailing than Parma (57) this season.
  • Daniele Casiraghi has had a hand in the most goals of any Südtirol player so far this season in Serie B (four: a goal and three assists), including an assist in both of his last two games.
  • Both of the players with the most completed dribbles in Serie B this season play for Parma: Franco Vázquez and Dennis Man (19).
