“There are two types of losses, deserved and undeserved. I think that today the team played well, coming out and playing to win. It was one shot, one goal, that’s the only thing that separated the two sides. They did well, we knew it was how they were going to play. That’s football. We deserved to score at least one goal.
They did their job well, defending and looking for the goal. They shot from 30 metres, it wasn’t a crafted out goal. We made plays, crosses: when it’s not your day, it’s not your day. In Serie B there is less quality, but more running and physicality. That’s what we have to work on, too.
We lacked something, by not scoring a goal…. We have to think about continuing to work and believe in what we do, because sooner or later it will come.
I’m happy that the Coach is giving me the opportunity to improve little by little. I know it’s not easy playing 90 minutes at 36 years old, but he is helping me develop”.
