Parma, 7 December 2022 – Benevento will be Parma’s next opponent in the match scheduled for Thursday 8 December at the Tardini at 12.30 CET. Here are the some stats and facts ahead of the match.

● Parma have only face Benevento in Serie B last season: the Crociati won 1-0 in the home fixture and drew 0-0 when playing away.

● Since the beginning of the year, Benevento have repeated the same away result twice in a row in Serie B, only in February (two victories against Cittadella and Perugia); they boast an even balance in their 18 matches played away from home in 2022, with six wins, six draws and six defeats.

● Benevento have conceded the most goals in the first 15 minutes of the second half this season: as many as five out of a total of 17 (29%); however, none of these goals have so far come in away matches.

●Fabio Pecchia and Fabio Cannavaro played against each other 12 times as players in Serie A, with seven wins for the current Benevento coach compared to the two for the Parma coach (3 draws); the two also shared a dressing room at Napoli from 1993 to 1995.

● After his brace in August against Frosinone, Francesco Forte has not found the net again in any of his following 11 league matches; this is the longest goal drought for the Benevento striker in the second division since his run of 12 games without a goal from March 2018 to September 2019.

● The only goal scored in the two matches between Parma and Benevento in Serie B bears the signature of Valentin Mihaila, who, on that occasion, also scored his first goal in the competition (1-0, 29 August 2021).

● Ivorian Drissa Camara – two goals in his last three league games – is the youngest foreign midfielder with at least two goals to his name in this season’s Serie B (born in 2002).
