FROM DENMARK FOR PARMA: DANISH FANS AT THE TARDINI

The last game at the Tardini against Sudtirol wasn’t just worth 3 points but also gave us the chance to get to know a group of Danish fans who had come to Parma to watch the game as part of their football-focused travels. “For 25 years, we have been travelling to different grounds in Europe, we love football and by travelling like this we can unite our passion for the game and the desire to discover new places”, explained Finn, a spokesperson for the group, he continued: “We have been to Milano, Spain, Germany, England and all the main stadiums in Denmark. When we travel we try to see at least two games, and this is the first time we get to visit Parma at the Tardini: it has been three very special days”.

INTEREST FOR PARMA

“Many icons have played for Parma, we remember Zola, Brolin, Asprilla, Di Vaio, Buffon, but also Cornelius who played here for two years before heading back to Copenhagen. We visited the Parma museum and we understood that this club represents an important part of Italian football, aside from the great players they have won national and international trophies and had some amazing coaches. We have fond memories of Parma coming to Copenhagen to play in the 1994 final of the European Cup Winner’s Cup: a great squad who won a lot in the following years”.

DISCOVERING THE CITY OF PARMA

“We arrived in Bologna and then we moved straight on to Parma, we found a beautiful city full of art and history and, obviously, good food. We are sad to be leaving so soon, but given how our visit has gone, we’ll be back for sure, whether to get to know the city better or be back in the Tardini”.
