Parma, 14 December 2023 - El Diez of Parma. It's the number he's been carrying on his shoulders this season; it's the number he likes and one that looks great on him. Adrian Bernabé is Parma Calcio's number 10 and, in these three seasons, he has shown, game after game, that he is worthy of it.

The Spanish midfielder has made a total of 68 appearances, with 4,875 minutes played scoring ten goals. Many days have passed since his first goal in the Gialloblù shirt (against SPAL at the Tardini on 6 February 2022), just as the whole world still remembers his double against Cosenza, our next opponents. Adrian's goals - one with his left and one with right foot, were decisive in a wonderful 3-1 victory. It's Bernabé's class; it's his strength; it's what has helped him overcome difficult moments, get back on his feet and take today's Parma Calcio by the scruff of the neck, together with his teammates.

This season's statistics speak for themselves: top of the rankings for successful passes completed (with 626), first for number of passes (with 743) and third in the 'shots on target' (ten, equal to Kouda, Casiraghi, Tremolada and Greens). Appearances: 16 in the league and three in the Coppa Italia Cup, with four goals scored. Anything else? Yes, two assists, too, the last one in the 96th minute of Parma v Palermo, in which Gabriel Charpentier scored to make it 3-3. It was an assist and a goal that sent the Tardini into ecstasy.

However, Adrian scored his last goal at Ascoli on 28 October, in the 3-1 win over the Bianconeri: a free kick that went in off the crossbar. Now he returns to Cosenza, where the world got to know him and adore him for his talent and beauty. With the number 10 on his back, he wants to take his Parma far.
