The hots made the better start and opened the scoring in the 14th minute, but Parma responded well and managed to equalise late on (85’): DiStefano entered the box, beat two opponents and fired past the goalkeeper with a precise right-footed strike. After 23 wins, two draws and five defeats, Colantuono’s side have finished third with 71 points behind Lazio and Ternana, the latter of whom will take on Napoli for a place in Serie A next season.
