New Appointments
The major news for the upcoming season is the appointment of Nicola Corrent as the new coach of the Primavera team. Corrent joins Parma after a stint on the technical staff of Salernitana. He has significant experience in youth coaching, having led the youth teams of Hellas Verona for four years, including one year with the Under 17 team and three years with the Primavera, with whom he achieved promotion to Primavera 1 in the 2020/21 season.
Statements from Mattia Notari
Mattia Notari, the head of Parma Calcio’s Youth Sector, expressed his enthusiasm for the new season: 'We are ready to start this new season with great enthusiasm. I am very happy and satisfied to announce the arrival of Nicola Corrent as the new coach of the Primavera. He is a coach with extensive experience in both youth and first-team environments, so he understands the pathway a young athlete needs to grow and reach the highest levels. He has also worked with Fabio Pecchia at Verona, and I am sure this can ensure solid relational and programmatic continuity between the youth sector and the first team.
We strongly believe in the growth of our young players and are convinced that, with the support of our technical staff, each team can develop its potential to the fullest. Our goal is not only to train footballers but also young men with important sporting and human values. We look forward to seeing the results of this season's work, which promises to be long and challenging, and which everyone must approach with enthusiasm and sacrifice. I believe that motivation always makes the difference at all levels!'
