Parma, 17 August 2024 - The spoils are shared in the Gialloblù’s opening game of the Serie A campaign against Fiorentina: 1-1 at the Tardini. Parma started the match lively before the Viola got back into the game. Then a stroke of genius from Dennis Man in front of the Curva Nord: a left-footed curling effort to the far post. Advantage Gialloblù. Pecchia’s team continued to push and Sohm struck the crossbar in the 27th minute after a great run from Mihaila. More saves from Terracciano kept the Viola in the game before Biraghi found the equaliser from a freekick. Fiorentina were reduced to 10 men in the final minutes after Pongracic received his second yellow card. Parma had the chance to win it through Cyprien but his right-footed strike flashed past the post. One point to kick off the season for Pecchia’s team, who host Milan in 7 days on Matchday 2 of the Serie A Enilive (24 August, 18:30 CEST).
