“We need to stay grounded. AC Milan put us under pressure at key moments today, and we did well to respond. We must continue to do this and take home this nice victory. The important thing, if you don’t score, is not to concede. In the first half, we were solid, and after the equalising goal, we regrouped and saw it through to the end. AC Milan is a great team. When Leao and Pulisic get going, they’re always dangerous. We remain grounded. We played a great match, and they will come back because the league season is long. Winning against AC Milan is always a pleasure. We managed the game well and secured the win in the end. Besides being effective on the counter-attacks, we were compact at the back and defended well. I think about the team, we are all young, we want to grow, and we enjoy showing our football”.
