Naples, 31 August 2024 - Captain Enrico Delprato spoke following Napoli vs. Parma on matchday 3 of the Serie A Enilive 2024/25.

'Delprato goalie? I never would have thought, it was a spur-of-the-moment thing: we had no more subs, someone had to go in goal, I looked at the Coach and I went for it. It's a shame given the game, the full 90 went well despite the sending-off. Going down to 10 men changed things, we were defending well. Then, unfortunately, came two goals at the death. We put in a good performance and we are happy about that.

Ability to understand moments in the game? We need to alternate between defending as hard as possible and attacking, we work a lot with the Coach and today we did well. It's a shame about the chances we gave them and it cost us dearly. We will continue to work, even when we face these sides, with humility and personality, trying to give them trouble.
