Como, 19 October 2024 - Head Coach Fabio Pecchia gave his thoughts at the end of the match against Como, on Matchday 8 of the Serie A Enilive 2024/25 season.

'After the initial push and the goal, we were always in control. We should have managed the spaces for the goal which came straight after, for this we are going to look back and find a way to do so. In the second half we showed a winning attitude, in some moments there was a different rhythm to the game and we have to give that to them. And at times you must not give in. In the first half we controlled the game well, when we dropped back, we dropped back. There were times when we risked things, but in the second half we increased our control of the game. The woodwork? Those chances were painful, we created a lot of chances. The team wanted to win the game. The comeback? This is always an aspect of a team that wants to score goals. Today Bernabé hit the bar, Mihaila hit the post and there were lots of other chance. In the second half, perhaps we deserved a bit more, we were positive on the pitch. The team has to keep going, I am satisfied, we showed solidity. The touch from Bonny? I thought it went wide, I was happy because we made a really good play. I'm also happy for the team, for Angelo, when the ball comes in he is always brilliant. The next four games? I'm thinking about the next match against Empoli, we always have the objective of winning. We have to give something extra, like today. With a level of conscience and a stronger mental strength when we worked as a team and we had to suffer.'
