Parma, 14th November 2024 - Parma Partecipazioni Calcistiche organised an evening with its members, ‘A dinner with Pecchia...’, during which the coach of Parma Calcio talked about his personal journey and the team in this beginning of the season. Together with Pecchia were the Managing Director Corporate Luca Martines, the coach manager Nando Coppola, the goalkeeping coach Valerio Visconti, the technical collaborator Gennaro Troianiello, the Team Manager Alessio Cracolici, the SLO Giuseppe Squarcia and the Sales Director Mattia Incannella, all present at the Hotel Parma & Congressi.
At the end, in the presence of Parma Mayor Michele Guerra, Fabio Pecchia received a plaque as a token of esteem and thanks from CEO Maurizio Braghiroli, President Paolo Piva, Vice Presidents Maria Vittoria Grassi and Franco Bardiani, and councillors Matteo Volpi and Giorgio Bianchini.
Stepping aside from the event, the Parma Calcio coach made a few comments to Sky Sport.
VICTORY GIVES SERENITY
'When a victory comes it's always good, it's healthy for everyone. Right now with the break many boys are travelling around the world with their respective national teams. This allows us to work with those who remain here at Parma, but clearly the victory gives serenity. The standings? Considering the few games played, the ranking is all relative. The signal, however, in this part of the championship, is the one we want to give: to play the matches according to our style and obviously to score as many points as possible because in the end it is right to play well but it is also necessary to score points.'
ENTHUSIASM AND 'LIGHTNESS'
'Is enthusiasm the right solution? Yes, I speak of enthusiasm because I know my people very well, for more than a few years and I know what they need. When, on the other hand, I say 'lightness', which is often interpreted as superficiality, I mean awareness of the job we do, of the work we do and also of the sense of responsibility that the boys must have.'
