As well as being an example of technical excellence, the Fourth Kit represents a symbol of social commitment, bringing with it a powerful message of inclusion and solidarity. A flash of light, in this case Gialloblu, through the darkness to give a perspective, a concrete hope of a new life, characterised by humanity, brotherhood and selflessness. This outfit incarnates Parma's desire to use football as a tool for change, raising awareness about major social issues and promoting universal values such as unity, respect and hospitality. In line with these principles, the Fourth Kit is closely tied to the Club's project with a number of youngsters between 14 and 17 who have come to Italy without their families and are part of the community at Casa Baloo, part of the ASP (Azienda Servizi alla Persona) in Parma.
These youngsters are at the centre of an inclusion programme in Parma, which also includes sports in general and in particular, the experience of football. To further support the project, the Match Worn shirts from the Men's First Team, worn during Parma vs. Hellas Verona and those of the Women's First Team, used during Brescia vs. Parma (both games on Sunday 15 December), will be put up for a charity sale beginning in the afternoon of Monday 16 December.
The Gialloblu players' shirts will be personalised with two patches (one internal and one external) to make them truly special and unmistakeable. All proceeds from the charity sale will go to the community aided by the programme, thus helping to support this important initiative.
