Milan, 27 October, 2023 - Football and the protection of women, two important topics for Lega B that once again converge as part of a larger campaign focused on women’s health. With it being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Komen Italia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and with the support of the Fondazione Pubblicità Progresso, has launched the project titled “La Prevenzione è il nostro Capolavoro” (“Prevention is our Masterpiece”) to raise awareness of the importance of taking care of one’s health and adopting healthy lifestyles.

During matchday 11, Lega B will promote Komen Italia’s campaign through a series of activities, including on social media, via video advertising and through stadium announcements. Serie B clubs will also take to the pitch wearing the iconic pink ribbon, a symbol of the initiative and all women, with famous historic and artistic landmarks across Italy having already “worn” it and turned pink in October.
