PARMA CALCIO'S CONDOLENCES FOR THE PASSING OF ELIO GANDOLFI

Parma Calcio expresses its condolences for the passing of Elio Gandolfi, a historic Club figure, who passed away on Tuesday at the age of 89.

In the 1970s, Elio became part of the Gialloblu family as masseur for the youth sector. In the 80s, he was promoted to the First Team as kitman, a role he carried out until the 2003/04 season, the last with Cesare Prandelli as Head Coach. He was a historic figure; he experienced promotions from Serie C to B with Marino Perani and Arrigo Sacchi in charge, and to Serie A and Europe under the stewardship of Nevio Scala. He was an integral part of the victories and trophies in our trophy cabinet, as well as our participation in the Champions League. Parma Calcio's condolences and thoughts go to Roberto Pelacci, who was very close to Elio.
